Over the last 30 days, Beyonce has announced a new shoe line and active wear line with Adidas, released her first of 3 Netflix specials, Homecoming, documenting her Coachella performance, instead of making the Formation DVD she keeps getting asked about, she released graffiti filled merchandise that read “Where’s the Formation DVD” trolling her fans… it’s safe to say the woman has kept herself busy. And in case you didn’t get enough Beyonce, she also just released her album Lemonade on all streaming services, as it was only available on Tidal up until now. She had said it would be that way “in perpetuity,” but apparently decided to change her mind after 3 years.

If you’re wondering what made Beyonce just randomly choose to re-release Lemonade, conspiracy theorists would say it’s because of that lemon that hit Ariana Grande at Coachella to let her know she was either behind it or condoned it. Unfortunately, she did it because today is the third anniversary is the album’s release. It just so happened to also coincide with one of the best shade throwing opportunities known to man. If the latter had anything to do with it, Beyonce, we won’t tell.

Lemonade was also a film if you haven’t seen it yet. It was divided into 11 chapters, Intuition, Denial, Anger, Apathy, Emptiness, Accountability, Reformation, Forgiveness, Resurrection, Hope, and Redemption. The film also garnered her four daytime Emmys. This was Bey’s second visual album and won her best urban contemporary album and best music video at the Grammys as well as a Peabody Award. So all of those paying for a Tidal subscription just for this album can cancel it… until her next project comes out. 🙂
