If you’ve been on Instagram long enough, you’ve likely come across Vinny Watson. On any given day you might see him on Instagram in a variety of luxury whips or the inside of his insanely decorated home. Even he’s admitted on Instagram, “I think I’m getting too much money… Everybody mad.” And for those looking to live like him, he’s an interior decorator and Principal of Contemporary Essentials decorating firm. On his website’s homepage he has a testimonial from August Alsina on how well he did his place.
He’s also been known to post pics of checks of his on Instagram for thousands at a time… or in the case of the end of 2016 he posted one for over $300,000. He’s apparently a lucky one in the casinos as he describes himself as a professional blackjack player. Nothing wrong with that. There’s a lot of jurisdictions in the country against gambling but hey, if more people can win and live like he can, why not? He at least uses the money for good. He partnered up with Metro Kids Atlanta to give backpacks to school kids last summer where he did a video showcasing the process online.
You can’t be a celebrity without having your share of scandal and drama. For starters, anytime you flash around that much money you’re going to get hated on by default. It’s also cute that he calls himself Daddy.. even for his introduction in a video about giving back to underprivileged children. (You do have to admit having the nickname Daddy’s just a little bit of a turn on.) There have been names floating around in speculation of who he’s seeing and of course he has a couple mugshots mandatory to be a celebrity in 2017 not to mention some nudes floating around out there as well.
As far as his entourage, he’s friends with a basketball player and Instagram model we’ve covered a number of times, Deven Hubbard, which is how we came across Vinny in the first place. In 2015 he did a video documenting a wedding proposal he made to his boyfriend Chad at the time that he had been with for the last 5 years. Judging by a recent IG post of his where he said he needed a “bae, boo, lil b*tch or sum’n” it’s safe to say he’s on the market again. He does however have a dog for companionship that named Benji that has its own Instagram account… which takes a lot of dedication might I add.
