The First Lady of YSL, Young Thug’s ex-fiance Jerrika Karlae appeared on The Progress Report Podcast where she spoke about how he’s been doing from behind bars. She described him as being “in great spirits.” She said “I feel like this is just a moment for him to learn a lot of lessons.” And to say that he doesn’t have a trial set until January 2023 for a RICO case at 30, she said he was still able to be positive offering her advice.

“Honestly, he was giving me advice. He was like, ‘Keep your head in the game, wake up every day and put a smile on your face and be thankful, and we good.’” He also made it a point to say to her “I love my fans.” And he’s got some diehard supporters because instead of people just coming out saying he deserved it and denouncing his behavior, there’s been a lot of talk about the flaws of RICO cases.

There was even an 18 year old, Quartavius Mender who was arrested on May 26th after making death threats directed at Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat on his Instagram account. He was charged with 23 counts of making terroristic threats and said he was going to kill his wife as well so it’s definitely a thing that people are willing to go to war for the GA rapper.

She spoke on his spirituality as well saying, “I see the growth. I feel like I really see his faith. I really really do. That’s what a lot of people don’t know, bro that man really knows the Bible inside and out. Nobody would know that about him because they don’t talk about that. They talk about everything else.”

These two have come a long way because after breaking up the end of 2020 she both called him a devil, she said he was a narcissist on social media that misused and abused her. It’s good to see that they’re able to be in a positive space now. He was denied bond last week after a hearing where Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville expressed concerns about witness intimidation.
