Duke Dennie Arrest

It’s been a few weeks since streamer Duke Dennis was arrested last and for all things, playing Hide & Go Seek. Apparently the situation was so traumatizing and stressful to him, he went off the grid immediately afterwards to collect himself and regroup over what happened. In a live stream this Sunday, August 17th he said at the top of his stream, “I cannot cap, bro. I missed this house. I missed y’all. I missed everybody, bro. I missed my bed right here. I missed my setup. I missed I missed everything. That’s number one. I missed everything.”

He added, I’m doing just fine. I’ve been gone, bro. I’m not going to lie, I had to take a break from all this. I had to take a break from streaming, doing YouTube, doing content. Had to take a break from social media, people, just life in general. I dead a** needed a break, bro. I couldn’t, bro. It was a lot going on, bro.”

And to add insult to injury, he experienced a death in the family at the same time which would be stressful to anyone. Combine that with legal problems and being in a cell from what seemingly was an innocent day of streaming content for fans and you’ve got yourself a doozy.

“Then my aunt passed away during July. Couldn’t even really process that because I had to go to the funeral and then immediately go back to streaming. And then as soon as I get back, soon as I get done streaming, the sh*t happened. I go to jail… over some dumb stupid, bro. I needed a break, bro.”

He went on to say he couldn’t talk about the arrest itself and that it was just a “big misunderstanding.” He said it was “Miscommunication mostly. I’m going go ahead and keep it a ban, bro. Jail isn’t a place that I would wish on anybody.” He continued, “The thing about me, bro, I’m not the type of content creator that’s going to like risk my freedom for the content. Content ain’t that deep for me… Like I said, this sh*t was a big a** misunderstanding. Big a** miscommunication.”

Now for the good stuff. He was arrested during a game of hide and go seek fellow streamer Kai Cenat in Rivercenter Mall in San Antonio after it had closed. They apparently were asked to leave, refused and a fellow associate shoved the officer and Duke resisted arrest. Now how a man over the age of 30 got in trouble playing hide and go seek and thought it was okay being on private property after hours is beyond me.

Now the only reason I know this was a bad idea was for similarly being on private property as a teenager and being approached by an officer about what we were doing in the car at the time. We were informed about it being private property, we nodded saying okay and agreed to leave. Maybe he’s never experienced such. So I can’t exactly criticize him over it. He’s still a little old to not understand trespassing. At least I was doing something fun. His big a** was playing hide and go seek.

The city of San Antonio just had an officer indefinitely suspended for calling his black female colleagues “diversity hires.” And TX isn’t exactly known to be the friendliest towards black people so he might want to watch his behavior down there, While he says he’s learned his lesson, we certainly hope so. The chances are property there is owned by the conservatives in the surrounding suburbs and they don’t play. They’ll happily throw the book at him. We’re just glad he’s out.
