This revelation came from him participating in the viral “put a finger down” challenge. “Put a finger down if you were diagnosed with cancer as a teenager and your parent decided to publicly announce your diagnosis for personal gain and attention, but behind the scenes saying that your diagnosis is karma for you being apart of the Alphabet mafia — and if they known that you were gonna turn out like this they could’ve kept their money.”

Just to throw my two cents in this, I’ve watched her perform on Bobby Jones Gospel breaking down in tears mid-song about how he was diagnosed with cancer years ago and what that was like. So to hear this is quite shocking and disappointing. Also, as someone who grew up in church and a Christian household, her sentiments don’t come as a surprise. She’s also a Gen-X’er from Indianapolis so this seems about accurate for that demographic. While this country is a lot more accepting of the LGBT community, we don’t have to look far to find those that disapprove. She also shaved her head in solidarity with him in 2017 which is quite a lot for someone who allegedly is unsupportive of their child.
All we can do is pray for their family because even though he said he wasn’t attacking his mother, she’s certainly going to take that as such.
