Migos rapper Offset’s not having a good start to his week. Yesterday he shared on Instagram that his great uncle passed away from coronavirus complications. That’s the thing about covid19. It was all fun and games and with people left and right saying they had never heard of anyone having it until it began to hit close to home as it is now. His wife tried to tell us when she went viral talking about how it scared her when it first came to America.
And speaking of his wife Cardi B, incriminating text messages were posted this weekend by his ex Shya L’amour that show him begging to sleep with her one last time. Luckily for him this is from 2018, so it isn’t recent. Unfortunately, his wife is Cardi B and not the best person to be in this situation with. Her last Instagram story involved her at the gun range so that pretty much says all you need to know about that. You also may remember the two separated later that year and for a few months at that so it’s clear Cardi takes this seriously.
This exposing started because Shya had been trying to have him served with court documents regarding child support that she says he’s been dodging as well as child support payments. She claims it was when she refused to continue having sex with him after finding out he was married that caused him to stop making payments altogether.
In an Instagram story, Shya tried to clear up her name explaining what’s been ging on saying, “I was going to refrain from posting but him and his hoe too disrespectful after I’ve been trying to be cordial and empathetic. I found out the same time the world did that they was married and he been cut off since then!! Stop f***ing playing with my name!!”
In a separate video, she spoke directly to Cardi saying, “Y’all think that I didn’t try to this woman privately? I came to her privately and respectfully and she still come with the disrespect talking about she gonna smack me. This is your second time threatening me! I’m done trying to save face for motherf*ckers who don’t give a f*ck about me. And they disrespectful and stupid bro…It’s like talking to a f*ckin’ wall, man, these people slow. Women are supposed to stick together knowing these men be on the BS.” She went on to address Cardi directly, rhetorically asking her: “Why do you feel like somebody owe you something? Why do you feel so entitled?”
The video was captioned with “Don’t talk to the blogs behind the scenes trying to spin the narrative and think I’m not going to speak my truth… them days over with. & this ain’t got nothing to do with him or our differences that will be settled in court! This is about my respect period. I let y’all slide for too long… you was literally begging and blowing up my phone to see receipts of 2018 so I showed you 🤷🏼♀️”
Since Offset just announced he had a relative die, hopefully these two can quit threatening to slap and expose their situation and at least give the man a couple days to grieve. As for Cardi’s situation, people have yet again called for her to leave him but that’s between those two. We’ve watched this soap opera play out for a couple years with instances of Offset being exposed and others likely blown out of proportion like viewers of him and his wife on Instagram Live saying he tries to hide his phone from his wife. At least the ex did what she had to do to clear her conscience because the fact does remain that when a major person in the industry constantly paints you in that homewrecker or side chick corner, that’s not a fun space to live in. Just look at Karrueche Tran and Jordyn Woods. The latter is making her money but trying her hand at a singing career so that she won’t be known as the girl that broke up Khloe Kardashian’s marriage… allegedly.
