Rapper NBA Youngboy was driving through Los Angeles Monday when police tried to stop him over an open federal warrant. He chose not to pull over which lead to a pursuit then then resulted in him taking off on foot. Police then decided to set up a perimeter and after a brief William Shakespeare “Release the hounds” moment where the K-9 unit was sent to sniff him out, he was found and taken into FBI custody. Though a firearm was found in the car, it isn’t clear whether it belongs to him or not.
As for why he had a warrant for his arrest, last September, he along with 15 other people were arrested on drug and firearm charges in Louisiana. We’ll be reporting on updates of this case but for someone with 7 children and just recently became of drinking age behaving the way he has, he most certainly will be broke again. He’s one of the hottest rappers out now and needs to not go the direction of Gervonta Davis that we just reported on who’s facing 7 years over a hit and run while holding multiple major boxing titles. Don’t go fumbling the bag, bro.
