Travis Barker has been in a public relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, happy and all of their children seem to enjoy seeing their parents happy. But do you know who isn’t enjoying it? Barker’s ex-wife, former playmate Shanna Moakler has been throwing some serious shade at the couple and her teenage children are sick of it.
To start, Moakler and Barker divorced 15 years ago so to be getting bent out of shape over a relationship and what happened that long ago is simply ridiculous. In comparison, how many times has Kim Kardashian been married in that time period? Well she’s accusing Kim of being the reason for her divorce. She says Barker slept with her which caused her to call things off.
“Travis and Kim have never had a romantic relationship,” a source close to Kim stated. “They were friends who met through Paris Hilton and that is also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced.”
To make matters worse, her 15 year old daughter Alabama went on Instagram talking about her parenting saying, her mother was “never completely” in her life and was not an “amazing Mom.” She also shared a screenshot of a text her mother sent her saying, “I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister…It’s all gross…I’m not the bad guy!”
An insider has said, “It’s a shame that she continues to spread lies because she is clearly bitter her ex is happy and has moved on. It’s extremely hurtful to her kids how she is behaving. Hopefully she gets the help that she needs and can eventually find happiness.”
Now to Moakler’s credit, after Kourtney and Barker started dating, old remarks he made about Kim in 2015 surfaced where he described her to Us Weekly as “eye candy.” He went on to say “How could you not stare at Kim?Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim!”
A source close to Barker has since told Page Six that he was “joking” when he talked about Kim. “Anyone who is close to them has always known that Travis has been in love with Kourtney for forever [not Kim],” the insider said. “They are madly in love and best of friends. Everyone in their circle couldn’t be happier for them.” They pointed out that Barker and Kourtney have been friends for 15 years and are “extremely happy” right now. They added that “there is nothing weird or any drama here.”
