Actress Nia Long’s currently on social media gushing over her man of the last decade, Ime Udoka becoming head coach for the Boston Celtics. The announcement came at a press conference today stating he’d be Brad Stevens’ successor. “Today you are officially the Head Coach of the Boston Celtics,” Long posted on IG wearing a Celtics jersey of her own. “Big love to the entire staff for the warm welcome. I am beyond proud of this man.”
And the Celtics jersey Long had on was a #18 to represent him being the 18th coach in history. “The legacy continues. #coachudoka18,” she finished off the post. Udoka shared his excitement saying, “expect great things because that’s what he does.” He went on to say, “I look forward to having success with you guys.”

As for Long, the two have been engaged since 2015 and have expressed no interest in getting married. Perhaps this new job might change his mind and he’ll decide to be more of a traditional partner. Usually when people say they don’t plan on getting married, someone has cold feet. It reminds us of Real Housewives of Potomac’s Robyn Dixon who was clinging to a man for years, sharing beds and weren’t committed for as she said, she was in hopes he’d come back around. They eventually got back together and engaged. So anything’s possible.
