Tamar Braxton’s ex-husband Vince Herbert has towering financial problems culminating with his latest of $66,000 he refuses to pay his jeweler. The problem began in December 2018 when he reached out to Hollywood jewelers Green & Co with a deal that was completed May of the next year. It’s reported that he repeatedly lied about his net worth and involvement in the music business. His misrepresentation of his wealth allowed him to get a line of credit for custom jewelry.
What started as a $20,000 bill ballooned to $66,000 with interest. So far he hasn’t responded to the lawsuit which isn’t abnormal behavior as he had a $500,000 judgment filed against him this April for $380,000 previously awarded to LDNX Records from him that he’s made no effort to pay. Subpoenas had even gone to former clients of his, Lady Gaga and Remy Ma to try and confiscate royalties of his back in 2019.
Now two years into being divorced, he and ex-wife Tamar have found a way to still co-parent amicably. They celebrated their son’s 8th birthday together, something that would have seemed impossible not too long ago. In an Instagram post, she said “An 8th birthday that brought everyone together. Look how God used this day for all of his GLORY,” the celebrity mom said. “That’s why I love him so,” Tamar added. “Things aren’t perfect but they are GREAT just like GOD is,” Tamar concluded.
Not long prior to that, Tamar posted on Instagram saying, “While I was sick, I thought I wasn’t what this Amazing child needed. I was broken, sad, hurt, felt sorry for myself, and wasn’t attractive to anyone, not even my own kid,” the celebrity mom admitted. “Sometimes we put all we have into other relationships. But what about the relationship that we have with our children,” Braxton asked.
So while Tamar is in a better place in her life, she needs to tell her cousin, as she refers to Vince that he needs to work on getting himself together. He’s been losing weight, which is a good start but he needs to work on those finances.
