His response is that he’s the one helping her financially. He told TMZ he was “speechless” and that he was who helped her when “she had no money.” He went on to say “All that jewelry is mine … that car she’s riding in I bought … the penthouse shoe [sic] got in the Dominican Republic I bought … I took care of her family, daughter — when I met her she had 2 month old baby — I put pampers and food on the table for them.” All of this came to light after the couple broke up last month and once she broke up with him, she claims she became victim of revenge porn when he “retaliated by posting explicit videos of her on social media.” She’s also requesting from the court that he be prohibited from posting anymore explicit content of her online.
Just this past January he was in jail for assaulting her and her mother Wanda Diaz in the Dominican Republic but was released when a judge didn’t feel the evidence was enough to keep him in custody. And ironically she countered her mother’s claims by telling the judge he never physically assaulted her. Her mother says the assault took place when they tried to stop him from beating their daughter. During a live YouTube stream of Alofoke Radio Show moments after he was arrested, Diaz said “One time I was with her, they were arguing, he pushed me, he slammed me because I got involved, because he hit my daughter,” she said. “I was thrown to the ground. (Tekashi’s) security did not do anything. I was there telling him not to continue beating my daughter and he kept on and I got involved.”
Whether there’s any truth to the mother’s claims is up for debate. One thing is for certain which is that there’s something about gang affiliation that will make you change your take on things when pressured. Now on the other side, Yailin was arrested last year for a domestic dispute at their home. And it was caught on camera, leading to her being arrested on felony charges. We’ll see how this case turns out.
