Right wing influencer Charlie Kirk was killed this week and if anyone wonders why this was such a big deal, it’s because he was at the top of the conservative donor list and likely seen as being responsible for a lot of elections due to his organization’s popularity. But that popularity came at a cost. He’s trashed Martin Luther King, Jr., bashed the Civil Rights Act as a mistake, says he doesn’t trust black pilots and questions black women as cashiers and called our latest Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson a DEI hire, as if she doesn’t have an impressive resume. And coming from him as a college dropout running a college organization discussing qualifications is rich. The problematic part comes from all of his recycled racist rhetoric being promoted with unprecedented amounts of money, so it’s reaching more people ie. spreading hate at a faster pace.

But fast forward to today. His killer has been found, a 22 year old Mormon who grew up in a Republican household. While not explicitly a Trump supporter, he did dress up as the man for Halloween when he first took office in 2017. Kirk in his death has been given the Presidential Medal of Freedom which is no surprise since Trump gave one to Rush Limbaugh who arguably was the most racist person on air, second to maybe Steve Bannon. A special about his life has already been aired on FoxNews and those who have spoken out against him and his obvious racism have been getting doxed with calls for them to be fired by the likes of groups like LibsofTikTok. Mind you, pointing out the bad deeds of a deceased person isn’t the same as saying they deserve to be killed. I know that I personally haven’t asked for him to be killed. It’s just that the act itself ranks lower than bunions on my feet hurting.

Now the prospect of what is to come is quite chilling and has people everywhere bracing themselves for impact. President Trump has requested $58 million from Congress to protect the executive and judicial branches. This of course took place not after Minnesota Democrat lawmaker Melissa Hartman and her husband were killed this summer, the April arson attack on Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s home who also happens to be a Democrat. In fact, Trump has made it a point to state that political violence is strictly a left wing thing that the government needs to fight as if the aforementioned events didn’t just take place.

In the wake of all the firings that have occurred over opinions on Charlie Kirk, this can only be seen as an attack on black America. Hell, the last black Washington Post Opinion writer was just fired for her views about Kirk. And a new Republican bill would allow Secretary of State Marco Rubio to revoke the passports of people based on views of theirs he finds objectionable. How? Well if he feels they provide material support to terrorists, even without a conviction, that could lead to an inability to leave the country. That could be from expressing support for Gaza or just expressing objection to the fact that people are sad about Charlie Kirk’s death. So in reality, anyone with a grievance about racism or even Western military goals could face a passport revocation. So quite a lot is on the line as lawmakers compete with each other on who can be the toughest in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s death as if this is the 80s crack epidemic all over again.

We would ask that you leave your thoughts on Charlie Kirk’s death in the comments, but we don’t want any of you to get in trouble for it. Funny how the people supporting free speech who now have made it so apps like Facebook now allow racial slurs in ads people pay for ae working overtime to stop people from expressing… free speech.
