The number of young people killed over social media can really be astonishing. It can start with flexing on other groups and disrespect taken too far where someone has to be shown the consequences of their actions and on camera are all quite common and that is what happened to 21 year old LA rapper Indian Red Boy.
The rapper whose real name is Zerail Dijon Rivera allegedly dissed Nipsey Hussle who we’ve pretty much declared someone who is hands off in the industry after his passing so at this point it’s cross that line if you dare. Well he was apparently parked behind an apartment complex last Thursday in Hawthorne, CA when someone walked up to his car and shot him. Footage of his dead body was then posted on social media with people bragging about taking him out.
Lt. Ti Goetz of the Hawthorne Police Department said in a police report, “It appears to have been a walk-up shooting and he appears to have been targeted.” While the suspect took off on foot, area security footage is being looked at and a multi-city task force has been dispatched to investigate the shooting.

At the time of his death, he was on Instagram Live, joked about not being strapped at the time and moments later someone approached his car, shot and killed him. He had not long been accused of defacing a Nipsey Hussle mural which is up for debate but if it was him, it was viewed as gang level disrespect.
Its’ always sad seeing young talent being taken out or young people in general. One object lesson here would be not to be filming your whereabouts all of the time. As for that spray painting the Nipsey mural… that’s certainly not something we recommend anyone attempting. Just saying.
