Antonio Brown sat down with Naji for an interview on Cigar Talk where he touched on Kaepernick’s return the NFL. He started by saying he felt Kaepernick “don’t want to play” and followed that up by saying his skill set was “trash” regardless. And then there’s the elephant in the room. He did all of that activism calling the league out, only to go back to then. “All that is cap,” Brown said. “We ain’t respecting that, bro. You took the money, the commercials. We don’t see you outside. We don’t see him in the hood. He don’t do nothing. Like, we cool. But, nah, we ain’t even stan Kaepernick.”
“He not even from the hood,” Brown pointed out. “He haven’t even been in the trenches. We like Kaepernick and all, but we ain’t really on that.” He called into question just how much he’s done asking, “He built a foundation. What it do, though? I’m being real. What superhero he enforce? Who he put on? Who he help?”
Despite having his Know Your Rights camp which help in the fight for social justice, donated $1 million to organizations with work of similar scope as him and even wrote a children’s book. Still Brown wasn’t impressed saying “He took the handout, so he got to take the mayor out and, like, take responsibility for that.”
In other Antonio Brown news, he’s currently alleged to be dating Keyshia Cole and the two have already recorded together. She’s even said he could win a Grammy. She said, “I love the body of work that he created. I think he’s gonna be great. I do. I wouldn’t have collaborated if I didn’t think he’d be great.” In April he released his first album. This new professional collabration with Keyshia Cole hopefully will keep him out of trouble where we won’t have any of the crazy headlines he’s been a part of over the years.
