Marquavis Goolsby, better known as rapper DaeDae was arrested this Wednesday on aggravated assault charges where he was taken to Fulton County Jail over a December stabbing incident at Dunkin Donuts. As it’s the incident report stated, it occurred over him “not being able to get what he wanted,” which lead to him stabbing the 17 year old employee.

“The crazy thing about the entire exchange is that, I believe that he wanted a certain type of donut, or donuts, and they did not have those donuts, apparently,” Kamau Mason, an attorney for the Dunkin’ worker, told WGCL. When police arrived at 6pm December 5th in response to a call about a fight, the employee told police a man came through the drive-thru, got upset over an item not being available, left, returned coming inside this time before engaging in an altercation. That’s when he started swinging the knife at the employee.

Part of the incident was caught on cell phone video. When he left, he left a shoe of his behind. The police then came to arrest him this week, almost just like the Cindarella story. He filmed himself turning himself in. “He could’ve easily taken her her life,” Mason said, according to WGCL. “Through the grace of God, she was able to survive that encounter.”

As for how this happened, that is up for debate according to him. He called it fake news, so we’re looking forward to his side of the story. It is kind of hard to believe this violent assault happened over a donut, but truth is stranger than fiction. And not to say this was deliberate but Lil Kim had a song talking about girls getting mug shots but it’s just over them not paying for their nails, referring to Foxxy Brown.

Anyway, updates will be given once they’re made available.
