Rapper and reality star Safaree is currently trying to get a judge to force his estranged wife Erica Mena to allow him in the delivery room while his child is being born. There are those who understand a man’s desire to be there for their child who will say that’s a good idea and at the end of the day, why not? Well, insert fellow Love & Hip star Bambi with a little logic.
“When you’re giving birth you need someone by your side to support you and tell you it’s gonna be ok, pass you ice chips, hold your hand and put you at ease. If you are only allowed to have ONE person in the delivery room with you … why the hell would you choose to be in there with someone who don’t like you???? TF?”
During the birth of their first child, Safaree canceled a show and everything to be there when he got the call from Mena that she might be in labor. In this instance, Safaree has said some pretty horrible things both about his wife and just being married in general on social media so it is understandable if she doesn’t want him there. A moment that should be filled with love is not something a judge needs to rule on. Safaree, other than capitalizing off of his name isn’t exactly the most rational of people. He needs to respect whatever decision his wife makes right now.
