Times are tough these days but one thing I wasn’t expecting to see was Blac Chyna selling Instagram Live calls and followbacks. Scrolling through Facebook I saw a screenshot of her price list with someone asking if this were real. My initial reaction was that it wasn’t. Then I looked at her Instagram page and lo and behold, she’s selling Instagram follows for $250, Facetime calls for $950 and personal videos for $123, with the first two available with installment plans.
This has gone viral mostly because she has a child by a Kardashian, she has a home in Calabasas and I believe she drives a Bentley. Then again that doesn’t mean much because a Bentley Continental GT will run you around $200,000 and I remember when Porsha Williams from the Real Housewives of Atlanta complained about a plane ticket price on the show and some others brought up what car she was driving and that she had some nerve. Sidebar: the car probably costs half of her house but that’s another story.
Blac Chyna also recently announced opening some type of beauty shop so she has bills. The reality of the situation is that she’s at least able to command these prices for her social media and if that’s what it takes to stay afloat, I’m not going to knock it. I would rather see her doing some more upscale marketing but then again, she probably would as well. It’s a bit of a shocker coming from someone who just had her second reality show and her mother just had a dating one. I’m not going to add any more salt in the wound but just know that if Blac Chyna is anything, she’s an enterprising woman. She’s come a long way from her strip club days. I’ll also add that we’re both about the same age and from DC so she gets my respect from that alone.
