Britney Spears is not playing and neither is her new attorney. She made it clear that she wanted her dad out to the world in court, on social media and in private and her new lawyer Mathew Rosengart aid he’s making that his top priority. At a hearing today he said his firm is working “aggressively and expeditiously” to get her dad James spears out of the picture.
In front of reporters outside of the courthouse, Rosengart thanked Britney for having “courage and for her strength” and said the petition for her dad’s removal will only happen if he doesn’t resign first.
“And I also want to thank Britney Spears fans and supporters,” he added. “The outreach and support for my firm, myself and most importantly Britney has truly been overwhelming from coast to coast and literally throughout the world.”
Her new attorney’s words comes days after she expressed how crushing she’s found the conservatorship to be in a lengthy Instagram post saying, This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try” and said the “so-called support system hurt me deeply.”
Also in on the #FreeBritney movement is Paris Hilton. In a recent DJ set for the Resorts World’s Grand Opening in Vegas she said on the mic “We love you, Britney. Free Britney.”

If Spears feels isolated, she clearly has the public’s support behind her which is much different than when her breakdown was unfolding in 2007. Let’s hope her attorney makes some progress and we find out all of what’s really going on along the way.
