It’s been close to two months since Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder got married in Italy and she hasn’t spoken to her ex Jax Taylor’s wife Brittany Cartwright since. It’s now been revealed that texts from Jax are the center of things. On the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast Friday, she admitted that she and Taylor didn’t attend Schroeder’s wedding but said there weren’t any ill feelings behind the decision, despite Schroeder saying otherwise.
During the show, she said “Jax started getting in his head, getting worked up about flying with the baby. You know how Jax is, he’ll just text and rage text. He was telling their best friend Rob and he ended up showing them the message.” She went on to say she “didn’t know” Taylor sent those messages. “He shouldn’t have done it. Whenever I found out about it, I was very upset with him,” she recalled. “I apologized like, ‘I’m so sorry. We’re still planning on coming.'”
So at this point Schroeder and her fiance “got really mad at both of us and didn’t talk to us for a couple of weeks.” She explained, “We didn’t hardly hear from them, and I kept saying I’m so sorry that he did that.” Even though the couple didn’t make the wedding, Cartwright says she hopes to “make things right. I feel terrible and still feel terrible because I do love them,” she shared. “I’ve reached out since the wedding. I said, ‘Everything is so gorgeous and I hope that we can talk one day and I am so sorry about how things went down.'” She added, “I haven’t gotten any response just yet.”
This is a classic example of what happens you have friends that have loose lips. There wasn’t anything wrong with Taylor sharing his concerns with his wife. That’s his wife. Then he shared them with a friend. There isn’t anything inherently wrong with that either. The going and taking it to Schroeder who is Taylor’s ex knowing the history between those two is where the problem happened. We know that those two have the biggest roller coaster relationship and we could see it now, Schroeder seeing those texts and thinking Taylor was just coming up with a BS reason not to show up to the wedding. In fact Schroeder said during a recent episode of her The Good, the Bad and the Baby podcast, she said that some people had pulled out of the wedding because they were “talking sh**” behind her and her fiance’s backs which wasn’t the case. Cartwright later said their 14 month old’s passport not being ready in time played a major role in things.
These three are likely going to be around each other for a long time given their roles in television and reality tv storylines connecting them so it would be in their best interest to try to step back, take a deep breath and think things through when communicating things with each other. But of course that’s easier said than done.
