Cardi B has canceled a slew of shows recently due to complications from her lipo after not taking the required amount of time off. The thing is, she had Kulture literally an entire year ago and to be having issues so far away when she had plastic surgery immediately after is quite problematic. She tweeted recently that she was swearing off plastic surgery after this given all the problems she had. She tweeted pics of her feet recently on a plane and thy were severely swollen. The old saying about our body trying to tell us things definitely applies here.
Now if any of this occurred to any normal person, they’d be told not to fly anymore any time soon. She said her stomach gets even more swollen which is simply hard to fathom. She’s since said she’s begun exercising the last two weeks and is feeling better already. One thing she mentioned last month was that she had her boobs done as well which shouldn’t have been a surprise as she had an extensive rant last year showing how she was taping her boobs up after giving birth and was tired of having to do that, but that contributed to her recovery woes and not just lipo as many have believed.
“I hate canceling shows because I love money. I’m a money addict,” Cardi explained in a video on Instagram. “And I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I’m canceling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do.”
Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard J. Brown who hasn’t worked on her gave his professional opinion to Page Six saying “For someone who has had recent surgery, they should always wear compression stockings especially when flying and should get up and walk hourly to avoid blood clots. If this were my patient who had recent surgery and was on a plane for a while and resulting swelling, I would scan her legs to rule out blood clots that could be life-threatening. I would also suggest an immediate scan of her leg veins.”
Dr. Terry Dubrow spoke to E! News about her condition saying “When you’re flying, first of all cabin pressure is reduced. You’re sitting for a prolonged period of time,” he said. “And flying, in and of itself because of the immobility and reduction in cabin pressure, can increase your chances of blood clots in the legs… that’s a potentially really dangerous problem.” HE added that she “shouldn’t really be having… this type of complication” so far after her procedures.
“It means one of two things is going on: one… you may have blood clots in the legs, which is a very serious problem, which if you do and they break up and they go to your lungs that’s a pulmonary embolism and that can life threatening,” he said. “Or two, you have a reduction in lymphatic return, which means you’ve got a problem in the lymph vessels in the groin. And that’s a significant problem.”
I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause bitch I ain’t getting surgery again😂😂😂but let me tell you I haven’t got a headache ever since .
