Chante Moore has officially returned and this time with a gospel track. Right One, a song she penned with Eric Dawkins, known for songs such as Fantasia’s Ain’t Gon’ Beg You, Monica’s Sideline Ho and Tyrese’s How You Gonna Act Like That. Produced by Jovan Dawkins, she sings about God’s grace and how we can all change in time to get the blessings we deserve.
“Who said too many mistakes? Who said you could never change? They must not know about your grace,” She sings. She continues on singing about mistakes saying, “Everytime I make a mess you remind me it’s okay. The scars that you see are the lessons and the beauties and the pain.”
This is her first release since her 2019 single Fresh Love. And this isn’t her first time dabbling into gospel. In 2015 she released the powerful track Jesus I Want You where she sang about perfecting a relationship with God.
In other Chante Moore news, she’s a judge for Ambi’s Next Great Voice competition. She spoke to Ebony Magazine about the experience saying, “Our first round of judging was on August 10 on Instagram Live and it was incredible. It was so nice to see so many young, talented people putting themselves out there and showcasing their talents. We had the opportunity to listen to people with different voices and vocal styles and it was great to see them step up with so much confidence and charisma right away.”
