This month is turning out to be pretty exciting for City Girls rapper JT. She’s reportedly out of federal custody now. After serving time in prison for credit card fraud with the remaining City Girls member Yung Miami holding things down, she came out and went straight to a halfway house to finish her sentence since being released in October. But those days are over now as she just posted pics of her in bed saying it was the first time she had the chance to lie in her own bed in 2 years.

As for her future, she has to be on probation for a year and perform 200 hours of community service. She released the celebratory freestyle JT First Day Out in October, but she should be able to record a lot more freely in her own house operating on her own schedule. Now word yet on whether she’s going to check Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Hazel E for predicting the group’s demise for JT being in prison and now Yung Miami having another baby. In her defense, when it looked like Yung Miami wanted to fight, Hazel said it was just a friendly beef. Mmhmm.

Now as for how JT ended up in prison, you may know that the group calls their fans “Scammers” which is an odd admission for crime, but hey… it is what it is. They’re from two of the roughest neighborhoods in Miami which should explain how they got into credit card fraud. Also, Miami is second in the country for credit card fraud cases. It’s so intense that people go there to learn and take their knowledge elsewhere. At least these two are making their own money now and don’t have to keep this up. Hopefully some time in the near future they may be able to go back to their old neighborhood and help break that poverty and crime cycle. For an example, look at rapper Lil Baby who just gave $150,000 in scholarships to his old high school last week.
