Claudia Jordan’s been making a lot of news lately. First we reported that she would be on VH1’s Couples Retreat as opposed to what was originally incorrectly called Couples Therapy, she offered her services to help raise ratings of the Real Housewives of Atlanta by allowing her to return and then Phaedra Parks unprovoked called her desperate for askin to be on in what was essentially a joke in the first place. But leave it to Phaedra to take things too far. And now there appears to be a death scare that happened with Jordan Tuesday.
In a series of Instagram Story posts, Jordan started off saying, “I’m alive.” She went on to say “Someone spread a false story that I had passed away….Causing panic and grief throughout my entire family. When they couldn’t reach me (Cause I was sleep) they believed it.” And apparently things got serious because she said her family got emotional over this. “Hearing my cousins voice and her crying when I called her….was so disheartening….to say the least,” she posted.

And addressing the culprits, Jordan wrote “So to whomever put it on a newsfeed or post in Tennessee…please remove it. It’s caused some of my family members some very real grief. Thank you.” Then in a twisted turn of events, she revealed it all just may have been a joke by none other than her saying, “Shout out to the very smart/quick people who totally get my dry humor. To the rest…I’m sorry you don’t.”

Ma’am. Was this really necessary? I’ve had about umpteen cups of coffee today. Next time, warn us so I don’t go having heart palpitations. Jesus H. Christ.
