Karen is epidemic that has plagued black America throughout history and if it weren’t for cell phone cameras, people would continue to think these were made up tales because what sensible person would ever call the 911 if they didn’t need them, right? I’ve had my share of these conversations and people who don’t want to hear about these domestic terrorists because it takes away from their “black man bad” narrative.
Well there was an incident filmed where a black man was sitting outside of his home waiting for his son to come out, only to be met by a white woman (Karen), standing on his porch dialing 911 because, how dare he sit outside of his home. “Didn’t think this would happen to me…” he says as he gets out of his car to approach (Karen). “Yup! Called the police!” she shouts. “Already did. They’re on their way.”
“This lady’s crazy y’all, I’m at my house,” he tells the camera, only to be told “Why don’t you come in to your f**king house?” And he did just that since he incredibly somehow has a new white authority to check in with when going in and out of the house. (Note my sarcasm here).
“No problem! no problem,” he tells her as he walks past her into his home while she still defiantly stands on the porch determined not to lose the fight. “This lady’s in my way at my house… this woman says I don’t live here,” he tells a housemate in the hallway. The housemate then says, “He lives here.”
“This is my house. You’re crazy lady,” he tells her again, signaling for her to get the hell on. “Another white lady pulling some more bullcrap,” he says. But of course, she gets even more irate. Smirking and shaking her head she points at his car as if that is proof of wrongdoing. “I don’t have to! I’m waiting for my son to come outside!” he retorts. “I don’t have to do anything you say lady!” Turning to leave, she takes a break before getting started again.
“She already called the police,” the recorder stated. “Another one of those ladies on TV, on the internet,” the man laments as he watches her storm off (the word he was looking for is “Karen”). But as she leaves, she begins shouting, “F–k you!” After hearing this, he shouts, “No come back! Why are you running? F–k me? Why are you talking like that? There’s children out here!”
Defeated but in denial, Karen is left with nothing to do but shout obscenities at the man. “You’re f–king retarded,” she shouted from afar. “Get in your f–king driveway, idiot! You’re a f–king drug dealer!”
“I’m a drug dealer… wow. Amazing,” he laughs. “You see that stuff on the internet all the time, but you never think it’s going to happen to you at your own house. But there it is.”
Karens are domestic terrorists and because of it, a San Francisco lawmaker just proposed the CAREN Act which makes racist 911 calls illegal. And if that isn’t passed as a law, a minimum, these people need to start being charged to stop these ridiculous encounters. Black people should not be walking around on eggshells because Karen and her emotionally fragile neighbors don’t understand why they have black neighbors. By the way, it’s been decades since housing covenants barring certain races from neighborhoods so you’d think this behavior would have calmed down by now, but alas, that is not so.
