DaBaby’s been getting it left and right over his remarks on the gays and HIV/AIDS with everyone from Madonna to Elton John, Dua Lipa etc denouncing him, so much so it seems the cancellations and call outs are never ending. It was just announced he won’t be taking part in the Parkland Festival in Europe but according to his team it has nothing to do with recent events.
Promo of DaBaby in Manchester’s Parkland Festival has ceased because his team pulled out and not the other way around. Given how festivals were being cancelled everywhere over COVID, they felt they may as well remove it from his schedule.

The festival is set to take place in Manchester’s Heaton Park on September 11th and 12th. Other atists scheduled to perform are Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Skepta, Dave, Burna Boy, Slowthai, Kaytranada, Jamie XX and more.
In one of the recent controversial reactions DaBaby has had to people upset at him was his public claiming that he didn’t know who QuestLove was when he said he was removing him from his “dream list” for an updated version of Summer of Soul.
“I ain’t even tryna be funny when I say … I DO NOT KNOW WHO DIS N-GGA IS DAWG & do not care about losing you as a fan my boy lol @questlove,” he posted to his Instagram Stories. “You or any other n-gga who wanna play follow the leader. This superstar you was a fan of is STAND UP n -gga, yeen never seen one of these huh?”

For one, what do you mean you don’t know who Questlove is? And your calling yourself someone who stands up for themselves shows you have no remorse for what you did which is why his feelings amid being cancelled aren’t being spared. This isn’t any embrace of cancel culture, it’s human nature as it pertains to apologies. If you don’t appear sincere, you’re not going to be respected. And he just has to deal with that.
