Boldy James is a Detroit rapper best known for his song First 48 Freestyle who just survived a serious car accident in his hometown on Monday that left him with extensive injuries. But a statement was made to his Instagram Saturday thanking his fans for their prayers saying, “Your prayers are greatly appreciated. Thanks, everyone, for all your support, the calls, text messages. I seen them all. Just keep me in your prayers on this journey as I continue to heal with my family,” James captioned the post. “Thank you, God.”
He also shared a press release that gave more details about his car accident that read, “I can confirm that Boldy arrived at the hospital in critical condition, suffering from broken vertebrae in his neck and orthopedic injuries. After undergoing extensive surgery on his neck, Boldy has been removed from the intensive care unit and is now in stable condition.” It concluded, “Boldy and his family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses that are taking care of him, and also to the communities’ emergency medical personnel and first responders.”

James is lucky to have survived his accident and not to make the list of people who have already passed so far in 2023 including rapper Gangsta Boo, Fred White from Earth, Wind & Fire and Lisa Marie Pressley among others. And other rappers that have died by car crash like Shawty Lo which could have been his fate so thank God he pulled through.
