Dr. Dre’s wife is the definition of savage. He was served divorce papers at the worst possible place which is at his grandmother’s buriel. Sources reported it happened this Monday at an LA cemetery when he was approached by the process server at her final resting place. It’s in dispute about whether he was confronted by the process server. A source close to Dre says he was served next to the casket while his wife Nicole Young’s people say the papers were dropped off and left in the parking lot where he was confronted AFTER the burial.
The issue that has him being served is over Young’s legal fees. He paid over $320,000 which he believes is the full amount required and that the judge’s signed order saying he owed $1.5 million in total was an error. Young says it’s clear and that he owes another $1,224,567.
In other Dr. Dre news, he’s going to be headlining the 2022 Super Bowl sharing the stage with Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar which he described by saying, “This will introduce the next saga of my career… Bigger and Better than Ever!!!” He described the February date as Dre Day. He also can find solace in the fact that he made Rolling Stone’s Greatest Songs of All Time list and was at the very top at that with 1993’s Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang.” Maybe the royalties of songs like that can help him pay off this costly and anything but amicable divorce he’s going through now.
