The Super Bowl is going to have an action packed half time show with a whopping five artists performing on a set headlined by Dr. Dre. Other performers include Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige. But Dre’s former N.W.A. rap group member Eazy E’s daughter Ebie Wright wants her deceased father included in the mix. In a conversation with TMZ she said she would like a tribute for her father that will at minimum be just an “R.I.P. Eazy-E” in the background while performing at the SoFi stadium in L.A. just miles from where her father and Dre grew up.
Earlier in the year Ebie executive produced a docuseries on her father’s untimely death tha consisted of four hour long episodes titled The Mysterious Death of Eazy-E. Having premiered on August 12th on WeTV with never before seen footage and interviews, the docuseries is a perfect precursor to a potential Eazy-E tribute at the Super Bowl. Let’s see if Dr. Dre decides to listen to her and more than he does his own daughter. We all know how that’s going.
