Even from his name alone, Wentworth Michel is a man of distinction. The 26 year old Port-au-Prince, Haiti native living in Delray Beach, Florida is what the kids would say “issa snack.” (See, I can’t even write that with a straight face.) But if seeing Wentworth as a pharmacy tech is hard to imagine, he feels the same way. In an interview with Essence Magazine, he says it pays the bills along with the 8 years of working in the health care field, but that he’s always seen himself in modeling and film. We definitely agree. That is a face and body that deserves being in lights.
Fellas, if you’re looking to get a body like Wentworth’s, he says he works out some 6 to 7 days a week in the gym. If you can look at him and think that came from anything less, you’d be a fool. Just this week on Instagram he said, “Some days i don’t want to be there. After a long day of work or running errands, I’d much rather be in bed…but gains aren’t made there.” In a recent throwback photo from 2011, he says he weighed 135 pounds. That is simply hard to imagine, but that’s dedication for you.
Good things come to those who wait and that is definitely the case for Wentworth who once sat through one hour of grilling from the father of a girl he was looking to date… except he turned out to just be her cousin and it was a prank. Today he’s happily in a relationship and as far as any advice he might have on dating, he says to be patient.
