Faith Evans and Stevie J were first reported to be headed to having a divorce by TMZ when they saud a week ago that Stevie J had filed divorce papers at LA County’s Superior Court. And it was said to have blindsided Faith as she had just posted positively about her husband. But posts made to social media by the couple this weekend don’t seem to show such a thing going on.

On Instagram, Evans posted a video of her man doing cartwheels captioned with “Get us free, bruh!” tagging him in it. The following post was a meme that said “Did you know there are 3 places you can stay for free? ‘In your lane,’ ‘Out of my business’ and “over there.” If the two are in fact getting a divorce, it doesn’t seem that she’s inclined to speak about it anytime soon.

The music duo have been married for about 3.5 years after tying the knot in a Vegas hotel room in 2018 much to the surprise of many. Evans said the two have been friends since the 90s and quite honestly, for those that are shocked and said she was above Stevie, they seem to not understand Faith Evans. Not to disparage either, but despite this innocent image some try to associate with her, she was in fact married to Biggie and he was no saint. And people forget about the 2005 song she did after running through the airport after drugs were found in her luggage so she’s got a couple rough edges of her own. And they’re both amazing in the industry so it’s completely understandable where the attraction comes from and what all they have in common. And believe it or not, some people can actually go through a divorce without turning into Bobby and Whitney or in 2021, DaBaby and Danileigh.
