You can consider this one of those feel good posts. Well, mostly for Chicago Bears fans. Cowboys fans? Probably not so much. Thursday Night Football ended in beatdowns of the Cowboys both on and off the field. Not only did they lose 31 to 24, but if you were trying to catch up on some of the Soldiers Field game details, you might have gotten bombarded by a viral video of Cowboys fans catching yet another beatdown out in the stands. There’s no context but the short viral video shows the Chicago Bears fans passing out the same beatdown their team did on the field with their fists on Cowboys fans. As someone who spent most of his life living in DC where the Cowboys are the ultimate arch nemesis of the Redskins, this video brings joy to my soul to watch.

In the end, it doesn’t appear anyone was injured and no police were called. They fought it out and kept it moving. That’s how things should go. Talk your trash, fight it out like men, brush yourselves off and go home without anyone involving the police. Oh, and this week George Zimmerman just sued the family of Trayvon Martin for [insert reason no one cares about], and all because he chose to pick a fight with someone after not minding his business and had to bring a gun to a knife fight and involve the police. He chose to bother and chase after someone walking, minding their business, got his a** beat and that should have been the end of it. If you can’t fight, you shouldn’t be bothering people. But enough of that. Who knew a football stand fight video could teach so many life lessons?
