Early Tuesday morning former NFL player Marshawn Lynch was arrested in Vegas near the Strip at 7:25 am on suspicion of a DUI for driving into multiple curbs. While he didn’t submit to a breakthalizer test, he did have blood drawn and was taken to jail. The Vegas Police Department tweeted “The LVMPD conducted a vehicle stop at Fairfield Avenue and West Utah Avenue (near Wyoming and Las Vegas Blvd) on a driver, later identified as Marshawn Lynch, for suspected driver impairment. Through the course of the investigation, officers determined that Lynch was impaired and conducted an arrest. Lynch was transported to the Las Vegas City Jail and booked for driving under the influence.” This makes at least his third incident of driving a vehicle while impaired.

This all comes in unfortunate timing because he was just announced as a new correspondent for the Seattle Seahawks. He’ll be joining later in the season as a “special correspondent” and will “produce creative content” for the team. Being that he’s known for his standout television appearances like the three shot minimum he gave himself before appearing on the Peyton and Eli Manning alternative broadcast for “Monday Night Football” last fall, he should do just fine. He just doesn’t need any more DUIs before that threatens his professional prospects and employment.
