It’s been over 20 years since Jackass first came across our television screens on MTV and the series of spinoffs it spawned. And for the most part we’ve had Bam Margera there along the way, that is until the recent production for Jackass 4 that production feels he isn’t fit to be in. And that decision comes from the past decade of him spiraling into addiction. He’s already called for fans to boycott the film this past February, but he’s been allegedly sending threats to Jackass Director Jeff Tremaine ever since.
In the text messages sent to Tremaine, he tells him to look at his children and sign the check. He also called him a “greedy fatso” and said he’d better sign the contract before he isn’t safe anywhere. He went on to tell him he would kill him in one punch. Now one of the keys to threatening someone is to not leave a record of doing such. Typing it in a text message, to the extent that you would kill them really isn’t that smart of an idea. The contract that Margera is referring to allegedly is one he wrote himself.
