Jadakiss and the Lox won their Verzuz battle and he’s been collecting all of his flowers for doing so. He’s even accepting the not so usual ones like Tyler, the Creator saying he had a crush on him based on his performance. The topic came out in an interview on The Breakfast Club this morning when Charlamagne Tha God asked him how he felt about it. “Tyler, The Creator better chill out,” he said around the 27 minute mark while Styles P and Sheek Louch shared a laugh with him about it.

“I like Tyler, The Creator, you know what he does, man,” he added. “That just means he’s tapped into our frequency he loved Verzuz. I didn’t take it as disrespect. He said he had a crush on me or some crazy shit. [He’s] very talented and very smart.”
Charlamagne then read off what Tyler the Creator said that stood out about Jadakiss’ performance in a recent Hot 97 interview saying, “Jadakiss was so ill the other night,” Tyler said at the time. “I was like, ‘This gonna be cool, but I think Dipset got this, right?’ Bro, that man cares. He gives a fuck! Every time he would perform, him and Styles P, it wouldn’t be 80 n-ggas onstage. I just noticed it was space.
He went on to say, “He made it a point to say, ‘We are home, where rap started. We feed our family because we use our voice over instrumentals, why the fuck are y’all n-ggas rapping over the songs?’ He wasn’t too cool to care. When Jadakiss said that, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m in love with this n-gga.’”
It is definitely a new day when something like this can be articulated on radio and things not go left. He could have offered to beat him up or any other host of insults after that. It’s good that he took it in stride. And we know that Tyler, the Creator has those tendencies and likes to troll anyway.
