Jake Paul is currently under investigation by the government of not just breaking the law but doing so on camera. But what else would we expect from someone who has filmed a fake wedding, scammed kids out of money pretending to help them become influencers, used racial slurs on camera, etc. He was driving through a protected beach in Puerto Rico that had endangered wildlife, sleeping turtles that he could have killed driving around. His brother was seen behind him doing the same which means they both may be getting in trouble. Puerto Rico’s Secretary of Natural and Environmental Resources has ordered a probe into the incident.

“I have ordered an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the use of two motor vehicles on beaches that are presumed to be in Puerto Rico,” Secretary Rafael Machargo wrote in a press release earlier today.

“Although Paul’s video does not establish where or when this was carried out, the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources reminds citizens that this type of activity is prohibited by law to protect the environment and the species that live or nest on the beaches,” the release continued. “Those who violate the law face fines and other penalties, if applicable.”

The reason for the trip was that Logan Paul said in February he would be moving some of his businesses there including Maverick Clothing, to Dorado, Puerto Rico, which is near San Juan. “I thought it was more third-world than I suspected, so I went out there to scout it and I just fell in love with it,” Logan said on a podcast. The two brothers are renting a $10 million beachfront mansion while there.

Neither of the Paul brothers have commented yet on this investigation. It would behoove them both to read signs before driving on beaches again in the future. Sources close to them state that they didn’t see any of the signs around saying not to drive on the beach. They said they’re animal lovers and would never do such a thing if they knew it was illegal. Well, let’s see how this plays out and if the Puerto Rican government wants to use ignorance of the law as an excuse.
