Viral hot felon Jeremy Meeks will be getting his acting debut in a new film, True to the Game 2. The film is a sequel to 2017’s True to the Game about a woman in a toxic cycle of dating drug dealers with the first being a physically abusive relationship. The original starred Columbus Short, Draya Michele, Vivica A. Fox, and more, based on a novel. Meeks shared a photo with the original producers Andra Fuller and Manny Halley stating it would be out some time this year. Also tagged were Tamar Braxton, Faith Evans and Bernice Burgose hinting that there’s some more big names starring in this one.
There’s also a possibility that Jordyn Woods could be in this film. She recently talked about recently wrapping up her first leading role in a film and Meeks said she was a great co-star. Neither mentioned which film they were referring to but it looks like this might be it. And aside from acting, he has his own clothing line with the clothing company GmbH as well as him serving as brand ambassador for them. In fact, the announcement of his line, which is coming out in February 2020, actually helped the company financially. It looks like he’s accomplished quite a bit since his 2014 viral mugshot. And it looks like this is going to be a good film. We can’t wait to hear how his acting chops are.
