Kanye already reportedly locked in the release date for his new album DONDA.. well, for a second time. It’s been delated to August 6th after he took in feedback from the Mercedes Benz stadium ticketholders that were there for his listening event last week. Well now he’s ready for a second round in the same venue. August the 5th is reported to be the date the stadium’s been booked… the day before just like before, but his team is said to be scrambling trying to find ways to make the event innovative so as to not appear to be a carbon copy like before.
Sources have told TMZ that CAA and Live Nation are pressuring Kanye’s production team to really turn the fireworks on because it’s going to be hard to sell to the same market again if nothing’s changed. One obvious thing he could do is to open his mouth. You may remember he just spent 45 minutes walking around the stadium paying attention to the audience not uttering a word. It’s reported that his plans aren’t clear at the moment. But this is Kanye we’re speaking about. Anything is possible. The man is unpredictable.
As it stands, Kanye’s living in the stadium and spending reportedly $1 million a day doing so so that way he can spend all of his time both on the album and the album preview event.
