The 2020 Presidential election is over (but psst… don’t tell protestors and the My Pillow Guy that), and now that Kanye West is out of the race, he’s obviously got more time to focus on his businesses. In doing so he’s able to focus his attention on an intern of his who apparently felt like leaking exclusive info of his to his Instagram account. And he left said info there despite receiving several cease and desist letters.
Now you have to be quite bold to be told to remove illegal posts by not just Kanye West, but Kanye West who happens to be your employer. It’s also worth noting that he had signed an NDA while working at Yeezy where posting internal workings of the company would result in a $500,000 fine. And surely enough the L.A. County Superior Court received a complaint Friday, January 15th that intern Ryan Inwards signed such an agreement. It also stated that multiple requests to remove it were ignored although the Instagram account now has 0 posts.
And now Kanye is seeking the $500,000 in damages he asked for which whether you think that’s absurd for an intern to have to pay, it’s probably not. And do you know why? The intern probably got paid to post the info which is why he left it up there and if he didn’t get the money for said info or SOMETHING out of it, welp, in the words of NeNe Leakes, “too bad!” You brought it on yourself, sir.
In other Kanye news, his wife Kim Kardashian has been going around without her wedding ring and they’ve reportedly been living in two different houses because their arguments have gotten so out of control they don’t need to be under the same roof. They haven’t come out and said a thing about breaking up but their friends are all rushing to the press to tell their side of what’s going on.
“Kim and Kanye had no option but to live apart in the end because the communication between them had gotten so downright toxic,” an insider told US Weekly. “They went into the latter part of 2020 with the very best of intentions and wanted to find a way to get along when they spent time together. But it reached the point where the bickering turned to nasty blowups and confrontations, and since neither of them wanted the kids exposed to that type of hostility, they [stayed] apart.” But you’d never know it from the $2 million they each spent on each other for Christmas gifts last year. Kanye bought Kim 5 Benz. Yes, you read that right… 5. And that’s pretty good for someone he’s supposed to be divorcing soon. He’s clearly one of the best soon to be ex-husbands you could find. Another source told E! News that they “have no bad blood and they are very cordial. He’s focusing on his world and she is focusing on her world.”
