Rapper Kodak Black is joining the Bill Cosby and R Kelly League of Inappropriate Celebrities. He’s just been charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina. He’s alleged to have committed the crime in February 2016. He was arrested that following November and released on $100,000 bond. The arrest warrant stated he forced the girl on the bed and the floor at a hotel where he committed sexual battery even though she “repeatedly told the defendant no and to stop. The defendant did not stop.” A documented rape kit shows he also but her on the “neck and her right breast.” The girl was also in high school at the time, although she wasn’t a minor. She reported the incident to a nurse at her Richland County high school where a school resource officer was called and eventually it made its way to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office.

After Kodak was released, he agreed to being swabbed and now two years later, the case is now moving forward. “We are slowly but steadily moving toward a disposition,” the 12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements stated. He also went on to say he could face a maximum of 30 years in prison but could also face a number of lesser sentences related to the same sexual conduct charge. “I want to do justice for the victim, whatever that takes.” He’s likely to be in court in South Carolina this summer or fall to face his sexual assault charge. “I’m hoping to get it up for disposition by then,” Clements said, after announcing the trial that was tentatively scheduled for April was continued to the later date.

Meanwhile, prison or no prison, Kodak Black’s been feeling quite cocky these days. Comparing himself to 2Pac, Biggie, and Nas, he said “I’m better than them n***as. You know why? Like, ’cause, I live what I rap about,” he said in an Instagram Live stream. “Them n***as was just like, them n***as was just legends ’cause they died.” Michael Rapaport, known for his hip hop commentary had a few words to say about that, none of which were kind, saying, he was “not even a top 10 mumble rapper.” Firing back, Kodak said, “I love my crackers now. But y’all tell this little dumbass cracker stop playing with me man. Tell him stay out of black folks business,” and told him to “suck a baby dick.” That isn’t exactly something he should be recommending others to do since he’s currently in litigation for raping a barely legal girl himself. He deleted his Instagram after the post without explanation… likely at the advice of management since he can’t seem to go a day without bashing someone be it Lil Wayne, Young M.A, and Sticky Fingaz all in the same month.
