Rapper Kodak Black had an army of authorities arresting him over the weekend including US Marshals, Miami PD and the ATF before he had the chance to perform at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. But that wasn’t the part that made the most news. He went viral sitting in custody handcuffed grinning, looking more like he was posing for a class portrait than facing a number of charges. His attorney, Bradford Cohen told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, “I think the actions of the [police] in taking a photo of him in the police station in handcuffs and selling it or giving it to WSVN is a disgusting display of unprofessionalism.”

The 21 year old rapper appeared in court today and was charged with making false statements while attempting to purchase a firearm. His attorney said he mistakenly failed to indicate in his firearm application that he is currently under indictment. We’re sure that’s not what happened, but we’ll take that. But this isn’t the end of his legal trouble as just last month he was charged with raping a high school student. Prosecutors will be back in court on Wednesday asking to keep him. He could easily just return to court but last month he skipped out on a show and tried to run the border to Canada, and would have made it if it weren’t for the illegal guns and drugs in the car with him. This is whole lot of trouble for someone just 21 to be in. Hopefully at some point we’ll have more positive news to cover about him because at it stands, trouble seems to follow him everywhere.
