Larsa Pippen was announced to join the cast of Real Housewives of Miami over the summer, months after being revealed to be dating married NBA player Malik Beasley. And this was a full year after Kim Kardashian reportedly unfollowed her. The situation was finally addressed by Pippen on the RHOM premiere that aired this week saying in a confessional, “People thought I couldn’t make it without some old friends,” right before an image of her and Kim Kardashian flashed across the screen.

And speaking about her and Kim K’s relationship, she told Access Hollywood today, “We are friendly, we’re friends. You know what, I think the whole situation that happened before me kind of dictated how I was perceived from people that don’t know anything about it.”
Then there was the rumor that she took Tristan Thompson from Khloe Kardashian which look… The man’s been with so many women while in that relationship both fact and rumor, I don’t even know if that’s possible. But she said, “I’m like, how did I fall into this?” she said, “I love them [the Kardashian family], my children love them. Our families are so intertwined.” Mind you, she said this time last year that she’s who introduced him to the Kardashian family and that she in fact dated him first.
And as for what caused the rift between her and the Kardashian family, she essentially blamed Kim’s ex-husband Kanye saying, “He talks so much about me being this and that and this and that,” she said of the rapper, 44, on a podcast in November 2020. “I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he really didn’t trust anyone with Kim.”
