Megan Thee Stallion is coming to a television near you as she just became the first rapper to sign an exclusive Netflix deal. Announced today, she will be creating and serving as executive producer for content with Netflix for television and other unspecifed projects. “I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” Megan said in a statement. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
The head of comedy at Netflix Tracey Pakosta said, Megan is a multi-talented creative force who has consistently made her mark on culture. She’s always growing and evolving as an artist, and we’re thrilled that she’s making a home at Netflix for this next chapter in her journey.”
Other hip hop artists have worked on documentaries and other projects for Netflix like Travis Scott, Killer Mike and Ludacris, but this is the first of its kind with a rapper. This puts her in the ranks of other Netflix creatives like Beyoncé, Steven Spielberg and Leonardo DiCaprio.
In other Hot Girl news, she graduated from Texas Southern University this month, fulfilling her late mother’s wish. The school’s Health Administration Program Director Dr. Monica Rasmus said she’s encouraged a number of dropouts to return to school in the wing she studied in.

And lastly in some not so shocking news, when Tory Lanez was allegedly shooting at her, LAPD Det. Ryan Stogner testified in court on Tuesday that he shouted “Dance b*tch!” That sounds like something Yosemite Sam would say. And if you look him up, Yosemite Sam was 19 inches tall which ironically isn’t too far from Tory’s height so it’s right in character. Thank God the wiles of Yosemite Lanez didn’t work and she’s still here to work with Netflix.
