Megan Thee Stallion was out partying with Tory Lanez Sunday night at a Hollywood Hills home when she ended up being shot multiple times including a bullet to her foot. She described the entire incident as being “an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.” In the process of it all, Lanez was arrested on a felony count of carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

The incident started with a call to the police over an argument outside of a Hollywood Hills home causing a disturbance, followed by gunshots, leading to the SUV Lanez was in to be tracked down by police. In the suv was Megan and another woman. It should also be noted that LAPD said they weren’t told anything by Megan about being shot. She’s since said she underwent surgery to have the bullets removed and is now trying to focus on her music. She slipped in a line about protecting her energy. Just why did she not tell police she had been shot? It was originally reported she had a cut on her leg. Was she trying to protect someone? Megan’s 25 and poised to take over the female rap industry at the moment. She doesn’t need to be getting derailed with gunplay and trying to cover to keep people out of trouble.
