Megan Thee Stallion Unfollows DaBaby Over Tory Lanez Collab and Her Fans Celebrate

In January it was announced that DaBaby would be working with Tory Lanez on a track that caused an eyebrow raise from Megan Thee Stallion… y’know, the ex he’s been accused of shooting. She responded with “nice try” and said the track hadn’t been cleared. Also note that this would automatically put DaBaby at odds with Megan and ruin their workplace relationship. It appears that didn’t mean that much to him because they went forward with the project anyway leading to Megan to unfollow DaBaby on Instagram.

The thing about Megan unfollowing DaBaby is that to her it came across as him taking sides with an abuser when he’s said in the past he was a businessman. That statement was made in response to him being asked in the past if he would consider shooting his shot at Megan since they’ve done so many projects together and have such great chemistry. At the same time, he has a history of hitting women. Remember the time he punched a woman in the face in a club for shining her camera light in his face? And of course that goes after the other handful of fights he’s been in the last 2 or 3 years. Tigers don’t change their stripes.

Now that Megan’s unfollowed DaBaby, it’s going to make the industry a little tense as they’re two of the top billing rap artists out right now that both not only have the most BET Awards nominations but are both performing live and in person that night. Eek. Meanwhile DaBaby’s still following Megan and his video for Skat with Tory’s currently out.
