Nick Cannon certainly learned a thing or two from his ex-wife Mariah Carey. The year was 2006 and Mariah had just signed a contract with Gillette’s Legs of a Goddess campaign and in perfectly predictable diva fashion, she insured her legs for a whopping $1 billion. Now when we’re talking about Nick Cannon and insuring body parts, had this have been a few years later we might say he’d insure his chest, biceps or back since he had been hitting the gym really hard. But in 2024, if there’s anything we would guess he should have insured, it would definitely be his manhood. And he made the right decision this summer by insuring it for $10 million. He said at the time to Entertainment Tonight, “Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.'” Now fast forward a couple months and Cannon has walked back his comments about insuring his junk by saying he doesn’t think he insured it for enough. “It wasn’t enough,” he tells E! News. “Should’ve been $12 million, one for each kid.”

Cannon’s not the only one insuring such things. David Lee Roth in the 80s insured his sperm for $1 million. Roth said he did it in case he impregnates a groupie by mistake he would be protected. Not a bad idea. But what Cannon really should have done was what Gigolos star and professional escort Nick Hawk did which was to insure his actual d*** for $1 million. In an interview with Stylecaster he explained how his clients love to get rough with him which really made him think about making sure he was protected in case something happened to his member. “I’ve been injured before,” he said. “And with our society becoming more open and free with our sexuality, everybody wants to try new things. People think I’m the perfect candidate to try new shit on even if they don’t know what they’re doing. Hair pulling, scratching, and shit—a lot of people go too far. I’m all for rough play, but anything that leaves marks, blood, or even breaks the penis is never good. Penises can break and cause real damage. It hasn’t happened to me, but I know people who’ve experienced it—your penis can snap, and it causes erectile dysfunction.” After having 12 kids and even impregnating 5 women at the same time, we’re sure it’s more than just his sperm they like so he would definitely be justified in having ALL of his manhood insured.
