Pete Davidson isn’t having the best start to his August. First he and Kim Kardashian split with sources saying she was “totally exhausted” by the relationship and now it’s being reported he’s in therapy. The therapy Davidson’s been in was for him to deal with Kim’s ex Kanye West’s online attacks. A source close to Davidson said he’s been in therapy since April in large part because of that music video Kanye did burying him alive. Kanye made a post just this week of a fake New York Times cover declaring “Skete Davidson Dead at 28” in response to rumors that he and Kim Kardashian had broken up.

“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” the source said. That source added that Davidson “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship. Moving forward, he just wants to focus on his career.”
And regarding how he’s handling the breakup, a source close to Davidson told Entertainment Tonight, “Pete is bummed things didn’t work out with Kim, but he is focused on the future in terms of his career and personal life.” his friends however are ready for him to move on. “Those close to him already want to set him up on dates,” the source stated.
The fact that Kanye’s wiped his Instagram account shows that he’s aware there could be some legal ramifications for his behavior. And although it’s fully understandable that this could drive Davidson to needing therapy, the next move in a situation like this is usual legal action using the therapy as evidence of the stress he was caused. Smart move Davidson. Kanye? Not so much. He really needs to learn some restraint. This episode of him battling Pete was completely unhinged and he CERTAINLY needs to do better.
