Married to Medicine is going to gain a heavy hitter on their next season, according to TheYBF. Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is said to be joining their 10th season and she apparently has a new relationship with a doctor she plans on revealing. During a BravoCon 22 panel, in response to a question from Drew Sidora about her dating life, she said “I’m actually dating a doctor. I don’t want to tell you about him but I’ve actually dated him for about a year.” And when asked by one of the women if her children, Dylan, 12 and Aydin, 9, had met him, she responded, “They have, and they love him.”
One of the reasons Phaedra’s appearing on Married to Medicine is because Bravo apparently offered her a contract but she required a pay that was well out of the range they were offering, so she ended up on Married to Medicine as the pay was close to what she asked for. And she already has a connection with the cast. She was sought after by Quad Webb when she needed legal advice for her issues she was having with Lisa Nicole Cloud on the show.
Parks has also been confirmed for appearing on the fourth season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in a tweet from Bravo that she would be returning along with Eva Marcille, Vicki Gunvalson and Brandi Glanville. And if we’re not sure about what Phaedra will be doing on this season, one thing’s for certain, she’ll be giving the other ladies a run for their money in the hair department because as she explained to Entertainment Weekly last year, she found a “new Phaedra” through her wig game after leaving her ex-hubby Apollo Nida. “And I have to say, when I was on Atlanta, I was obviously married, my husband did not believe in anything but all natural everything. He didn’t like added hair, he didn’t like color, so I was submissive to whatever he wanted me to do. I could never play with color or wigs or any of that kind of stuff, so you know — I got delivered and I am free, honey. I’m gonna get me some wigs and some color. Who thought I could be a blonde bombshell? Who knew? The people love it. It’s definitely freeing to be able to just do a new me and not be scrutinized. Because, of course, you know, this is all post-Atlanta, and I just love it. I’ve found a new Phaedra. If I run out this room, I might be a new Phaedra.”
