Rapper PnB Rock has died after being shot out dining in the Inglewood Los Angeles location of Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles with his girlfriend. Minutes after she posted their location, he was shot and robbed for his jewelry. As of now the perpetrators have not been identified but TMZ reports that there’s surveillance footage that may help with the search. DJ Akademiks had said immediately after hearing the news of him being shot that he just interviewed him a week ago and he said someone had just tried to rob him in LA in front of his girlfriend and asked his followers to pray for him.
As one of the biggest artists to come out of Philly in recent years had his shooting compared to that of Pop Smoke’s when he was killed hours after sharing his address. And he shared his by accident. We’ll add that Pop Smoke had rented a car for a music video and also didn’t return it, having it shipped across the country to his mother’s house, so his murder likely had a couple other factors with it.

Back in December PNB Rock said he had the biggest chain in the game. And it’s something that reminded us of what happened to Kim Kardashian and her being tied up in Paris made her realize she needed to stop sharing jewelry online. Recent Atlanta home invasions of Mariah Carey, Marlo Hampton and others caused the same words to be shared to keep people safe. We’re hoping more will take heed.
