The number of R Kelly accusations over the years have been quite extreme and dizzying to say the least. And they’re the type of #MeToo accusations that have become pretty normal in recent years to the point that they’re a blur. But now R Kelly’s crossed over into a new dimension. Now he’s accused of messing with boys. And if there’s anything the industry doesn’t handle too well is closeted men. Nevermind that the boy was a minor. He had been accused of doing that with women for years and that didn’t affect him until recently.
The boy in question was a 17 year old that he met in a McDonald’s in 2006 he invited to a party at his home along with his parents. He instructed him to come without his parents the next time which is when the sexual relationship started under the guise of jumpstarting his career. The boy then came back with another boy that was 16 or 17 but a sexual relationship with Kelly didn’t start until years later. He did have the boy have sex with women in his circle. New female accusers are in the new indictments.
He also bribed a Cook County official for inside information about his case in 2019. They took $2,500 and a burner phone to communicate with Kelly.
Here’s the interesting part about Kelly getting out of jail in 2019 after posting bail. He went straight to McDonalds. It had sat in my mind that it was interesting someone like him would want to be sitting in McDonalds of all places. Now it makes sense. And you know what this looks like? It looks like he went straight there up to no good. I wouldn’t be surprised if opposing counsel tries to get footage from the restaurant from that date if available to see if his team tried to fetch someone for him or not. Usually when you’re awaiting trial, anything related to your case you’re banned from doing. In this instance, he hadn’t been accused of picking up guys in McDonald’s yet.

A trial for these new accusations is expected to be underway in the next 4 weeks.
