R Kelly, who is currently behind bars with cases open in New York, Chicago and Minnesota in a list of mind blowing sexual accusations is now requesting he be released from jail due to health issues he’s been experiencing. Among those problems include an untreated hernia and numbness in one of his hands. Now no one deserves to sit incarcerated and allow their health to fail without treatment but as for the numb hand he has, that’s probably God getting him for putting it in places it didn’t belong. Sorry, God. Couldn’t help that one.
His lawyer, Steve Greenberg says he isn’t receiving the medical treatment he needs and calls the conditions “stifling.” Then there’s his threesome of a relationship and the visitation rights that don’t accommodate his lifestyle. “Although he lives and has lived with two lady friends, only one of them is allowed to be on his visiting list, and after 90 days he’s required to switch,” Greenberg says. The lady friend he’s currently allowed to see is Azriel Clary which means Jocelyn Savage has to wait a full 3 months to see him.
If released, Kelly’s legal defense says the judge has nothing to worry about and won’t attempt to tamper with any witnesses. He’s also said he’s not a flight risk because he doesn’t have many stamps on it given how much he detests flying due to a debilitating fear of flying he has. He also said Kelly wouldn’t have access to his passport so we’re not sure if that means he would be keeping it or the judge. So far the judge has not ruled on this. One of the issues with Kelly supposedly sitting at home being a good boy is the fact that he can have all the women he wants to voluntarily come to him, minors and all which is why that excuse is rather flimsy. It’s one of the reasons he’s behind bars now because that argument was used against him. How are we to be sure he’s not going to try to allure minors to come see him? We can’t be. He needs to receive the adequate health services he needs behind bars but don’t give him any reason to ask to be released whatsoever.
